In 1984, our founder Yat M. Chan acted on his dream to develop a company to service the welding industry with a line of welding gear. But not just any welding PPE on the market, practical solutions and reliable protection for the welder that offered Comfort, Protection, Durability, and tested to be safe for users Health.

After 35 years in the business and manufacturing, the company strategy has not deviated and it is safe to say that Yat’s vision is a continuing success. Yat is well known in the industry and highly respected by the great friends and relationships he’s made along the way. All can say he is passionate and committed to his work & family.  Today Weldas Co. is widely known in the industrial sector as “The Professional’s Choice”, delivering consistently high quality products over and over again. Weldas® holds several US Patents, 13 brands and trademarks, three distribution centers worldwide and its own manufacturing facility that is ISO 9001 certified.
